A PAST OF A PSYCHOPATH

Life is gone wrong as the world has plunged into darkness due to pollution and human greed. People tried to survive on electricity for as long as possible. But without the solar energy, the electricity was also in a ration so soon houses started to merge with the darkness. People started dying due to diseases caused by lack of vitamin D and accidents, also various other causes such as murder, thefts, and hunger as food was a scarcity. All this brought down the population of the countries to such as extent that there where only enough people to fill 1-2 safe houses per country. Hospitals were turned into safe houses due to the hygiene and precautions for emergencies. Ventilation became a problem as natural air had turned so poisonous that stepping out meant covering up everything from top to bottom or end up dying due to being in contact with the air. Water is filtered in labs for it to be drinkable. People are living together in communities in a building with curfew time divided age ways, so that there will be some kind of restrictions.

The head of the community is a Dean Dr. Samuel. He had two wives, and he had ordered his first wife Hera, who is also a nurse to get presents from his side, for his daughter Hestia who was the second wife of Athena’s child. His wife had got three big rectangle boxes covered in by wrapping paper. Seeing this, the daughter ran to the boxes while in the presence of the doctor and wives, and opened the first box in a hurry. Upon seeing the gift, she screamed in fright and ran to her mother. The doctor rushed to see what was in the box and found a bloody hand. Seeing this, he asked his wife Athena to take Hestia to some other room and then went to the other boxes and opened them to find more right hands cut. He looked at his wife Hera in range and fright. He asked him, “what is the meaning of this?” she answered with a sweet smile, saying, “this is the most wonderful gift anyone can get. Don’t you think?” the doctor looked at his wife, stunned, and saw that she had lost her mental stability. He then asked, “why did u do this?” she answered, “if my son did not even get the chance to survive and live happily. Why should she be the happiest on her birthday?” the doctor then rushed out to find out whose hands were cut by his wife, leaving her locked in his room. He found out that is a man, his son, and the man’s brother, all of whom she had convinced and manipulated, saying it was for their good. This was when the doctor realized the extent of the trauma his wife has faced after losing their child, that she has turned into a psychopath.
